Our mission & values

Vision

Improve the quality of life for women in Indonesia

Mission

Integrate small local farmers and growers into a high value-added supply chain. Provide decent work for unemployed and low-income women.

Our Approach

With its focus on improving the lives of poor and unemployed and using the inclusive business model, Sinar is actively contributing to the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

SDG1: Intensified efforts are required to boost the incomes, alleviate the suffering and build the resilience of those individuals still living in extreme poverty.

SDG2: As the world population continues to grow, much more effort and innovation will be urgently needed to sustainably increase agricultural production, improve the global supply chain, decrease food losses and waste, and ensure that all who are suffering from hunger and malnutrition have access to nutritious food.

SDG5: Gender inequalities are still deep-rooted in every society. Women suffer from lack of access to decent work and face occupational segregation and gender wage gaps.

SDG7: Access to clean fuels and technologies and use of renewable energy. Clean and sustainable energy plays a huge role in the eradication of poverty through advancements in health, education, water supply and industrialization, to combating climate change.

SDG8: Employment, decent work for all and social protection.

Our Strategic Approach

Sinar is going wide in reach with the large Indonesian Communities by one step to the next.

Sinar is aiming for valuable improvements of lives but one community at the time.

Sinar is going deep in focusing on its vision by making a significant dent on the problems.
