Social Impact

Poverty has many dimensions. Having a job does not guarantee a decent living.

Planning our business and social work for many months we came to conclusion that good jobs with decent wages are important, but diversity and gender balance will drive performance. Awareness of the environmental issues, understanding the climate change, education and training will help women to take future jobs more seriously.

As our business relates to food, we started Sinar Home Training Course click here.

SOCIAL IMPACT

  • Supporting small holder farmers and other poor households

Through collaboration, we support small growers and family farmers by buying from them. This in turn will overcome the farmers’ household financial constraints and better managing risks which in turn strengthen their capacity to invest further in what they do.

  • Agricultural Waste Management and use of alternative energy

Renewable technology uses solar energy for the drying process of the products. Creating new products and bio-fertilizes.

  • Sustainable environment

Contribute to the efforts to create a sustainable environment, reduce food wastage by saving agriculture products by turning them into dry products.

WORKING WITH COMMUNITIES

  • Gender Equality and poverty

We focus on decent employment creation to empower the local women and to create opportunity for women to earn their livelihood which, in turn, reduce poverty and improve their lives and wellbeing.

  • Learning new skills

We empower women to upskills themselves through learning to prepare them for a better opportunity in finding work and increase knowledge and confidence. We offer vocational training to local women.

  • Partner with other community projects to tackle community issues

We currently work with Loola Safe Water Gardens to ensure access to water and sanitation.

  • Promote healthy lives and promote well-being for all
